Job Description
Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care and oral hygiene guidance to patients while working closely with the dental team.
Responsibilities:- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records- Administer local anesthesia under the dentist's supervision- Take and develop dental x-rays- Perform periodontal assessments and provide treatment recommendations
Experience:- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols- Familiarity with medical records systems- Understanding of dental anatomy and CAD/CAM technology- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices- Experience in dental assisting and patient assessment
