Responsibilities:
· Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive treatments.
· Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive dental practices.
· Take and review dental X-rays as needed.
· Assist the dentist in identifying and diagnosing oral health conditions.
· Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
· Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with patients to ensure a comfortable experience.
Qualifications:
· Valid Texas Dental Hygienist license.
· Minimum of 5+ of experience in a dental hygiene role.
· Strong communication and patient education skills.
· Knowledge of the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
· Team-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor.
· Experience with digital charting and dental software is a plus.
