Title: Dental Hygienist
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, oral health assessments, and patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
Conduct oral health assessments, including examination of teeth and gums, to identify any signs of disease or abnormalities
Take x-rays as directed by the dentist
Assist the dentist during examinations
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and the use of other dental aids
Provide personalized recommendations for oral healthcare products and follow-up treatments
Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:

Valid dental hygienist license in California
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
Proficiency in performing dental cleanings, taking x-rays, and conducting oral health assessments
Strong knowledge of oral hygiene techniques, dental procedures, and terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to educate and motivate patients to maintain good oral health
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping
Familiarity with dental software and technology
