Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role involves performing thorough patient assessments, implementing preventive dental care, and collaborating with the dental team to deliver exceptional service in a friendly and professional environment.
Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed for patient evaluation.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with clinic protocols.
Assist in the management of the dental office, including scheduling appointments and maintaining inventory of supplies.
Collaborate with dentists in treatment planning and execution for both general and pediatric dentistry cases.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry.
Active California Dental Hygiene License (RDH).
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Experience with dental X-ray equipment.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
Ability to work as a team player and work independently as well.
Detail-oriented with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Strong skills in patient assessment and medical imaging techniques are highly valued.
Ability to work effectively within a team while providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
