Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various clinical procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and the ability to work effectively with patients to promote oral health.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth
Take and interpret medical imaging as needed to assist in diagnosis
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient documentation and record management
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission
Apply knowledge of medical terminology and coding as necessary in patient interactions

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with a strong emphasis on patient care
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is highly desirable
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment is a plus
Experience in four-handed dentistry practices will be beneficial
Understanding of vital signs monitoring, medical terminology, and dental terminology is essential
