Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental clinic environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Assist in the management of patient appointments, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical coding, and vital signs.
Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Ability to perform medical imaging procedures accurately.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
