Job OverviewFamily practice Dental Hygiene position opening for September 2025! No Fridays! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while performing a variety of dental hygiene procedures. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education, preventive care, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with industry standards.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Review medical records and document patient history accurately.
Take and record vital signs as necessary.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing patient information.
Maintain an aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with dental assistants and office staff to ensure smooth operations within the dental office.

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Proficient in documentation review and maintaining accurate medical records.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, particularly in a busy dental office setting.
Excellent communication skills, particularly when interacting with patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
