Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. You will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional service and maintain a welcoming environment.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing oral health issues.
Implement four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to treatment.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including medical terminology and dental terminology.
Assist in the review of documentation and ensure compliance with medical coding standards.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
Must have nitrous permit or seeking one
Be proficient in anesthetic delivery

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proficiency in Dentrix and Dexis or similar dental software systems.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Experience with four-handed dentistry practices is preferred.
Strong background in patient care, including the ability to assess vital signs.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and assisting in clinical settings.
Ability to conduct thorough documentation reviews and maintain accurate patient records.
Understanding of dental terminology is essential for effective communication within the practice.
