OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice part time with potential to transition to full time with benefits. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing various clinical tasks, educating patients on oral hygiene, and collaborating with the dental team to promote overall health.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and vital signs monitoring.
Perform dental cleanings and periodontal treatments using appropriate techniques and tools.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments in compliance with regulations.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Take radiographs on patients.
Work with pediatric patients, providing specialized care in pediatric dentistry as needed.
Utilize Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping.

Skills

Proficient in medical records management and documentation practices.
Strong understanding of infection control procedures within a dental setting.
Knowledgeable in general dentistry practices.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively, including taking vital signs.
Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Familiarity with dental software systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft is advantageous.
