Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take and record vital signs to assess patient health prior to procedures.
Assist dentists during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the dental office.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and observations.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Work with patients to create a comfortable experience tailored to their needs.
Use Eaglesoft scheduling, billing, and record management.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and improve office efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting or as a Dental Hygienist is preferred.
Knowledge of infection control standards within a dental setting is essential.
A strong foundation in general dentistry practices will be highly regarded.
