Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice from June 2025 until the end of December 2025. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the Dentrix dental software system.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including pediatric and general dentistry services.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental practices.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology and coding relevant to dental procedures.
Experience with Dentrix dental software is preferred.
Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental office setting.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A solid understanding of anatomy as it relates to oral health.
