Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team
who will have payroll + compisation for her work.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of dental procedures. This role requires a strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental care.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Assess and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and oral health conditions.
Utilize dental software systems such as OpenDentalto obtain accurate patient records.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures as needed, providing support and ensuring patient comfort.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to provide the best care possible.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental clinic to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patients.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, Dental/Medical terminology, and dental practices.
Familiarity with dental office operations and experience using systems like OpenDental will be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients.
A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
