Responsibilities

Provide high-quality dental care to patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Perform a variety of dental procedures such as dental extractions, fillings, dentures, and crowns. Root canal therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records using Dentrix Ascend software.
Practice four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Educate patients on oral health and preventive care to promote long-term wellness.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure smooth operations within the dental office.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license and eligibility to practice in the state.
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and patient care best practices.
Experience with Dentrix Ascend software is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient assessment and education.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism and compassion towards patients.
