We are a great team in the heart of Brooklyn looking for a long term hygienist, to join a busy lively practice that has one dentist and one current hygienist. Our office is looking for a team member that is happy, proactive, positive, and sincerely cares about the oral health of these great patients. We pride ourselves in providing great dental care to our patients while building great relationships and having fun.
Job description includes but is not limited to the following:1) Adult and Child Prophylaxis2) Scaling and Root Planning and Perio Charting3) Administer local anesthetic for SRP4) Detailed oral hygiene instructions5) Help schedule patients in down time6) Digital Bitewings, panoramic, and full mouth x-rays7) Familiarity with Dentrix and Dexis software is a plus, but will train if needed.8) Establish a strong and healthy Periodontal Maintenance program9) Comfortable with Cavitron and Hand Scaling and Oral Cancer Screenings10) Identify conditions like gingivitis, peridontitis and caries
Prior experience as a hygienist would be a plus, but not required.
