Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at a dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare with a focus on adult patients and a variety of dental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain aseptic techniques
- Utilize 3D scanners for digital impressions
- Manage patient records using Open Dental software
- Code dental procedures billing purposes
- Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment
Requirements
- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
- Proficiency in dental terminology and clinic operations
- Experience with general dentistry is preferred
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
- Familiarity with dental coding practices is a plus
- Ability to operate 3D scanners for digital impressions
-Ability to work with Cerec
- Competency in utilizing Open Dental or similar dental software
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour, assistants who are versatile with four handed dentistry and experience with Cerec and digital scanning will be paid higher. We are modern practice, with the benefits of productive modern dentistry
Expected hours: 30-40 hours per week
