Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and mature Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient management, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Record medical documentation accurately, including patient histories and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
Strong understanding of anatomy, dental terminology, and medical terminology.
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including prosthodontics procedures.
Familiarity with systems for managing patient records and medical documentation.
Ability to monitor vital signs when necessary during patient care.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.75 per hour
