OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist during treatments, manage patient records, and ensure the clinic runs smoothly.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for use.
Manage patient records, including medical documentation and medical coding.
Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Perform four-handed dentistry to enhance workflow during procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including acting as a dental receptionist.
Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to young patients.
Maintain an organized inventory of dental supplies and equipment.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proficiency in medical records management and documentation.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Familiarity with infection control standards in a dental setting.
Understanding of anatomy as it relates to dental health.
Experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
