Dental Assistant - Malan Family Dentistry - Ogden, UT

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentist in providing high-quality dental care to patients. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about oral health and patient care.
Duties:
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Prepare patients for dental procedures by reviewing their medical history
- Take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment following infection control guidelines
- Perform various tasks in prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and other dental specialties as needed
- Handle front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in taking X-rays, and assisting with various dental procedures
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
