Job SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic Dental Assistant to join our team who is fun, professional, dedicated, and skilled. The perfect candidate will be instrumental in delivering top-notch patient care while supporting the dentist in different procedures. This role demands a solid grasp of dental practices, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced setting. Our office is open Monday-Thursday with the occasional Friday. We are currently looking for an assistant for Monday- Thursday 8am-5pm
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for use.
Manage patient records, including medical documentation and dental coding.
Perform dental imaging and assist with radiographic procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to young patients.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing the dental clinic's front desk operations as needed.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
Familiarity with dental systems and documentation processes is essential.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is required
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Previous Knowledge of Curve Dental software a plus
