Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional patient care within our dental clinic. This role involves working closely with dentists and assisting in various procedures while ensuring a comfortable experience for patients.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist dentists during procedures by utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with clinic systems.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
Strong understanding of general dentistry principles and practices.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health.
Familiarity with dental terminology and infection control standards.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Certification as a Dental Hygienist from an accredited program and current state licensure.
