OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This position requires a strong understanding of patient assessment, dental procedures, and adherence to safety protocols within a dental clinic environment.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing while utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, providing care tailored to younger patients.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry considered a plus.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dental health is essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
A valid dental hygienist license and certification are required.
