Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality dental care to patients and support dental staff in delivering excellent patient service.
Duties
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
Take and develop dental X-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
Maintain accurate patient records
Perform various office tasks as needed
Requirements
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Experience with Epic software preferred
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and working with children
Proficiency in taking vital signs and using 3D scanners for impressions
Ability to assist with prosthodontics procedures
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Certification in dental assisting is a plus
Understanding of medical terminology
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.14 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
No weekends
