Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. This position requires a professional who is knowledgeable in dental terminology and practices, with the ability to work effectively in a professional clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Open Dental and other systems.
Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with dental office protocols.
Assist dentists during procedures as needed, providing support with instruments and patient management.
Take and review vital signs to ensure patient safety before treatments.
Laser training available
Stay updated on dental terminology, medical coding, and best practices in the field.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices.
Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation review processes is advantageous.
Experience using Open Dental or similar dental software systems is highly desirable.
A valid Minnesota Dental Hygienist license is required, along with any additional certifications relevant to the role.

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
