Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Take digital dental X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
Utilize dental software systems like Curve Dental for scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support the front office with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries when needed.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, including the use of 3D scanners for imaging.

Qualifications

Proficiency in dental terminology and general dentistry practices.
Experience with infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients.
Previous experience as a dental assistant is advantageous.
Ability to operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
A team-oriented attitude.
RDA certification is required.
N2O and coronal polishing certification preferred, we aid with certification if not yet certified.
