Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist with a fun and upbeat personality to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves people and is a team player. You will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, emphasizing preventive measures and education. You will work closely with our amazing dentist and other staff to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients. Responsibilities will include, taking x-rays, perio charting, sterilization duties, and communicating treatment plans with the doctor.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Document patient treatment plans, medical history, and progress notes accurately in the Dentrix system.
Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Stay updated on medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental care.
Support the office with medical coding as needed for insurance purposes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Great computer skills (We are a chartless office)
Dentrix experience a plus

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office is a plus but not required we are willing to consider new graduates.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental management software is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical coding and terminology will be considered a plus.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and anatomy related to dentistry is essential. We offer a fun and friendly environment with an amazing dentist committed to quality care!
