Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and record vital signs as necessary during patient assessments.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and techniques.
Work collaboratively with a team to provide excellent patient care in a pediatric setting when required.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software is an advantage.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.
