We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for patient treatment.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient files, including medical coding when applicable.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the clinic.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to infection control protocols.
Utilize Eaglesoft or similar software for managing patient information and records.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and general dentistry practices is essential.
Experience with medical records management and X-ray systems is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft will be advantageous.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are required.
