Dental Hygienist - Dental Associates of Walpole - Westford, MA

Job OverviewWe are a multi-specialty practice looking for a team-oriented hygienist to work and learn in an environment that places the patient first. As dental professionals we are dedicated to maintaining the highest levels of patient care, safety and infection control for both our patients and our staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to patients while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team. This position will involve meeting the needs of both Pediatric and Adult patients.
The schedule is Monday- 8:15 am-5:00 pm, Wednesday-10:45 am-8:00 pm, and Friday 8:15 am-5:00 pm (during the summer we close at 2:00 pm on Fridays). From September through mid-June there will be an occasional Saturday 8 am to 2 pm.
Duties

Perform thorough prophylaxis, SRP's, sealants, and examinations for patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient and staff safety.
Document patient information accurately in accordance with practice policies.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Qualifications

Valid Massachusetts state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in infection control practices and medical terminology related to dentistry.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental hygiene practices.
Experience with dental imaging techniques is required.
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
