Dental Hygienist - Fallston Dental Care - Mason City, IA

Fallston Dental Care is looking for a full time, or part time Dental Hygienist with both day and evening hours available.
Our office has a very team oriented Dental Hygiene department that works together to support each other when personal time off is needed.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque and tartar, and applying fluoride treatments- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and patient records- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
Requirements:- Valid dental hygiene license in Maryland- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options- Familiarity with infection control protocols and practices- Experience with medical imaging equipment for taking dental x-rays
