Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a 3rd dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality dental care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about dentistry and patient care.
Duties- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment- Take and develop dental X-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Maintain accurate patient records- Perform various office tasks as needed
Requirements- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and terminology- Experience is preferred but willing to train a new grad- Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft and DSD- Ability to take dental X-rays- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Attention to detail and organizational skills
