Registered Dental Hygienist - Urbana Dental Spa - Frederick, MD

Join our fun, well established, one doctor, privately owned, patient-oriented, boutique general dental practice in Urbana!
Monday and Wednesday
8:30 am to 5:00 pm, one hour unpaid lunch
Very patient specific scheduling, with appt times ranging from 45-60 mins, little to no SRPs, some perio maintenance, very little new patient appointments, lots of clinical autonomy, great team to work with.
Salary negotiable.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments and dental cleanings while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care.
Document patient records accurately and maintain medical records in compliance with dental terminology standards.
Assist in chairside procedures and collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality patient care.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling and patient management.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
Strong understanding of dental and medical terminology
Experience with patient assessment and documentation review
Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
Ability to perform vital signs monitoring and medical imaging
