Tom Fuchs DMD is a privately-owned dental practice with over 30 years serving the busy and ever-growing Middletown community.
We are seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to join our quickly growing practice for 10 hours per week (Wednesdays 12pm-5pm and Fridays 7am - 12pm)
We are looking for someone who is upbeat, detail oriented, and most importantly, committed to delivering the highest quality dental care to our patients. This position requires an outgoing team player with experience in diagnosing oral diseases, prophylaxis and periodontal scaling, and patient oral hygiene education.

Deliver direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
Provide excellent patient care by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
Assess the dental condition and needs of patients and review patients' medical history
Guide patients through our entire treatment process
Assist with dental and periodontal charting; when necessary
Take x-rays and save into patient charts, when necessary
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions.
Performs other work-related duties: answers telephones, schedules patients, and other light office duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing
New Graduates are welcome
Current CPR certification (or obtain within the required time frame)
Completion of a radiation safety class, as defined by the Kentucky Board of Dentistry.

Pay:
