Responsibilities:
Collect medical and dental histories from patients
Chart dental conditions based on dentistâs observations and evaluations
Chart notes and office visit write ups
Create scans of patientsâ teeth in preparation for whitening trays, retainers and night guards
Sterilize dental instruments and tools
Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
Take X-rays of patientsâ teeth for dentistâs use
Hours: Monday through Thursday 7:30 to 5 and some Fridays
This position is full time with 30 to 35 hours a week, but we are flexible.
Qualifications
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
Experience with Eaglesoft and Dentrix software
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry techniques
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
Ability to perform patient assessments and document findings accurately
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.00 - $45.00 per hour
