Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to perform various hygiene procedures effectively. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to promote optimal oral health and educate patients on preventive care.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments using aseptic techniques.
Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accurate patient records.
Assist in the examination of patients by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment in compliance with infection control protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices.
Provide support in managing patient flow and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental clinic is required.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are necessary for success in this role.
