Practice Name: Portneuf Valley Dental- Pocatello, ID
Schedule: Monday Tuesday Some Wednesdays (this is a rotating day) Thursdays and 1 Friday a month
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene practices. Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit.
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Utilize software for patient management and record keeping.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices.
Experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is preferred.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing patient records.
