Our appointments are scheduled for sufficient periods of time to ensure each patient is receiving the highest quality, customized care. Our ideal candidate is patient-centric, enthusiastic about educating patients, is organized and timely, familiar with a wide range of dental procedures including root canals, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, implants, and prosthetics.
Dr. Rosa Hernandez, DMD is our owner and general dentist. In addition to Dr. Hernandez, we have a Prosthodontist by the name of Dr. David Rua-Perez and an Endodontist name Dr. Kira Santos who practice at our office as well. We are continuing to expand our team.
Duties:
· Perform dental hygiene procedures following the dentist's guidance· Conduct patient screenings, oral health assessments, and review medical history· Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-operative instructions· Take dental x-rays· Maintain accurate patient records using dental software· Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are strictly followed
Required Qualifications:
· Current dental hygiene license in the state of Florida
· Experience is preferred, but not required. New Grads are encouraged to apply!
· Current CPR training and certificate
· Strong communication and patient relationship building skills
· High degree of skill with both hand instrumentation and Cavitron
· Competent in root planing
· Demonstrate complete knowledge and usage of dental terminology, dental instruments, tray setups and instrument sharpening.
· Effectively communicate oral hygiene instructions and dispense proper oral hygiene aids.
· Thorough Recordkeeping - including graphical charting, perio charting and proper chart documentation.
· Experience with digital radiographs and electronic patient record

Pay: $43.00 - $50.00 per hour
