**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our Dental Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, maintaining high-quality oral health standards, and supporting the overall success of our dental practice.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and oral exams, to identify any potential oral health issues.
- Use anatomical knowledge to identify and treat periodontal disease, tooth decay, and other oral health concerns.
- Provide professional and personalized dental hygiene treatments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
- Use dental clinic systems, including Dentrix, to manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist dentists and other dental professionals in patient care, including taking x-rays and performing medical imaging procedures.
- Provide pediatric dental care to patients of all ages, using a gentle and child-friendly approach.
- Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment, adhering to high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive oral health services and ensure patient satisfaction.
**Experience**
- A current license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the State of Delaware.
- A strong background in pediatric dentistry and dental hygiene.
- Proficiency with dental clinic systems, including Dentrix, and experience with medical records.
- A deep understanding of anatomy and dental anatomy knowledge.
- Experience with medical imaging procedures, including x-rays.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and their application to dental practice.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advances in dental hygiene and patient care.
