Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy, along with excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Review and maintain accurate medical records for each patient visit.
Assist in the documentation review process to ensure compliance with dental protocols.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Participate in the sterilization of instruments and maintenance of a clean dental office environment.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of medical records management and documentation review processes.
Proficient understanding of dental terminology and anatomy.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a dental clinic setting while maintaining professionalism at all times.
