This role requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient education.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Utilize dental imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images.
Review patient documentation and medical history to tailor hygiene treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing and flossing.
Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols at all times.
Document patient care accurately in Practice Management System.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional care for patients of all ages.

Experience

Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental terminology is essential.
Proficiency in taking high quality diagnostic radiographic images.
Experience in documentation review and maintaining accurate patient records is required.
Previous experience assisting in a dental setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
A strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control measures is necessary.
