Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk tasks in a dental clinic, ensuring efficient patient service and office operations.
Responsibilities:- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using OpenDental- Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance- Handle billing and insurance claims processing- Assist with inquiries, both in-person and over the phone- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area- Collaborate with dental staff to provide excellent patient care
Skills:- Proficiency in medical terminology and dental office procedures- Experience with OpenDental software preferred, if not we can train- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient service- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is a plus
-Bilingual Spanish or Chinese is prefer
