Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Uphold aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Skills

Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
Proficient in aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
Ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with familiarity in pediatric dentistry or endodontics being a plus.
