OverviewWe are seeking a BILINGUAL (English/Spanish) and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic, providing exceptional support to both the dental professionals and patients. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, as well as proficiency in various dental systems and procedures.
DutiesAs a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation for all patients, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Utilizing aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Preparing treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Operating dental equipment, including 3D scanners, to assist in diagnostic procedures.
Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling medical coding when necessary.
Supporting the dental receptionist with front desk duties as needed.
ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and general dentistry practices.
Experience with medical documentation and record-keeping systems is preferred.
At least 1 year of hands on experience.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is an advantage but not mandatory; we welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks.
State x-ray certification is a must!

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
