OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment documentation.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including working with specialties such as pediatrics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and medical documentation is advantageous.
Proficiency in using 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant coursework is preferred.

Pay: $22.54 - $23.86 per hour
