Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dynamic and fun team. Pine Hills Dentistry is an energetic practice that does all types of dental services from general care to All-on-X full mouth reconstruction. With our full in-house lab, we provide everything from crowns and snap-on dentures to partials, bridges, All-on-Teeth, and much more. Our state-of-the-art technology also gives associates the opportunity to grow where their interest guides them.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental care to patients, including diagnosis, treament planning, and performing dental procedures.
Conduct routine exams, some cleanings if needed, and preventative care as well as restorative treatments (fillings, crowns, bridges, etc).
Perform surgical procedures such as extractions, root canals, and implants as necessary. Mentoring and shadowing available.
Educate patients on oral health and hygigiene, ensuring they understand their treatment options and plans.
Develop treatment plans that consider both the dental and financial constraints of older patients, offering options and sicussing cost-effective solutions.
Be able to establish trust and rapport with patients that may have concerns with the many drastic treatment plans we come across in our practice.
Utilize documentation and medical imaging to maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Experience
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Experience in general dentistry is preferred but all new graduates are welcome as well.
Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix a plus but not expected.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
