Job Summary:Are you passionate about dental care and dedicated to providing top-notch customer service? If so, we'd like to speak with you. We are looking for a skilled dental assistant to join our team at a one-dentist , two-hygienist practice where teamwork and customer service are at the heart of everything we do.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during procedures- Sterilize dental instruments , prepare treatment room and equipment, and maintain treatment room cleanliness- Be available and knowledgeable to assist patients and their families after procedures- Open to learning new procedures and the way technology plays apart- Prepare and maintain patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatments- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques after procedures- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and adding items to the order list as needed
-Must possess the willingness to take ownership of your area and strong follow through
Experience:- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred with at minimum 1 year of chair side experience- Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control protocols, and medical record management
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Must possess a positive attitude- Familiarity with patient assessment systems and anatomy- Proficiency in using dental software systems, such as Dentrix, iTero scanner, Cerec Milling Machine
