Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients and staff in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Perform a range of dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canals, and oral surgeries.
Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care.
Familiarity with dental fabrication processes for prosthetics and restorations is advantageous.
Strong understanding of human anatomy as it relates to oral health.
Experience with oral surgery procedures is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
