General Dentist - Guthrie Dentistry - Bristol, TN

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care and will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and practices. As a Dentist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and ensuring a comfortable environment for all patients.
Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards during all procedures.
Document patient medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in accordance with medical documentation standards.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
Stay updated with advancements in dentistry, including techniques in prosthodontics and pediatrics.
Manage dental fabrication processes for custom dental appliances as needed.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficient knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Strong skills in infection control protocols and aseptic technique.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
