Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental practice, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional patient care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and supporting our dentists in providing comprehensive dental services.
Schedule: Mondays 8a-5p Fridays 9a-5p and every Saturday 9a-5p - open to adding additional days in the future if desired. This position is 3 days per week and eligible for comprehensive full time benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapies
Conduct patient assessments and take medical histories
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Assist in the development of personalized treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality care
Stay current with industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
Valid State Registered Dental Hygienist license
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Detail-oriented and organized
Experience with Open Dental software is a plus

Education and Training
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
Registered Dental Hygiene License from practicing state
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of Open Dental, a plus
Possess outstanding time management and communication skills
Ability to work within a team for the good of the patient and practice
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Operations Manager
