Job Description

We are looking for a “Bee-yond Amazing” Pediatric Dental Assistant at our brand new pediatric dental office in Sarasota, FL!

Core Competencies:
· Minimum of 1 year in pediatric dental assisting experience
· CPR Certification
· Prior knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus, but not required as we will provide training
Essential Functions:
· Excellent communication skills (You are the 1st impression of our team!)
· Impeccable organization for inventory control
· A willingness to be flexible and accommodating for patients
· Consistent in cleanliness, timeliness and service
· Mastery in assisting simple pediatric dental procedures such as prophys, sealants, fillings, stainless steel crowns, and extractions.

Schedule:
· Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
· Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
· Previous experience working with kids.
Requirements:
· Certified Dental Assistant or Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification. (Preferred)
· X-ray certification (Preferred)
· Strong communication skills.
· Comfort in working with children and interacting with parents.
· Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Work Location: In person
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 32 per week
