Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control standards.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using medical imaging techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring all information is HIPAA compliant.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups to enhance office efficiency.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and infection control practices is essential.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar practice management software is advantageous.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are crucial for success in this role.
